Chahar funnily avoids collision with Rahkeem Cornwall: The Indian pacer was seen joking around with the West Indian all-rounder.

During the third unofficial ODI of the ongoing India A’s tour of West Indies at Antigua, India fast bowler Deepak Chahar was seen joking around with West Indies all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall when the latter came out to bat in the second innings.

Cornwall, who gained popularity due to his excessive weight, almost collided with Chahar who seemed to be poking fun at the 26-year old West Indian cricketer. Just as the two players were about to touch each other, Chahar changed his direction to avoid a nasty collision.

As far as the match is concerned, India A gained an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series. After India A captain Manish Pandey won the toss and chose to bat, India posted a handsome 295/6 in their allotted quota of 50 overs on the back of Pandey’s ninth List A century.

Coming in to bat at No. 4 in the 25th over, Pandey scored 100 (87) with the help of six fours and five fours before getting out in the last over. Other than Pandey, opening batsman Shubman Gill contributed with his ninth List A half-century, 77 (81), with the help of eight fours and a six. With bowling figures of 10-0-37-2, Cornwall was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts.

In the second innings, India A bundled out the opposition for 147 in 34.2 overs. Coming in to bat at No. 10 in the 30th over, West Indies pacer Keemo Paul top-scored for his team scoring 34 (16) with the help of two fours and four sixes. With bowling figures of 7-0-25-5, all-rounder Krunal Pandya was the best bowler for India A.
