WATCH : Dilruwan Perera uses the 'Dressing Room Review System'

India are fighting back in the first test against Sri Lanka here in Kolkata. After an insipid batting performance from the hosts, India will now need their much vaunted bowlers to wrest the initiative from the Lankans.

A controversial incident happened in earlier today, as Dilruwan Perera apparently asked the dressing room before using the DRS.

This is against the rules as the batsman should take the decision without consulting his team mates in the dressing room.

A similar incident happened against Australia earlier in the year as Steve Smith was seen asking the dressing room whether or not he should take the DRS option.

Virat Kohli was livid with Smith and almost accused him of cheating in the post match press conference. Wonder what he must have thought of Perera’s decision!
