Fan emulates Ross Taylor and Brendon McCullum: A Kiwi fan has been doing the rounds on the internet with his first-rate impersonation.

With no live cricket being played due to the novel COVID-19 outbreak, a cricket fan in New Zealand seems to have found his go-to thing amidst practicing social distancing.

Not that the fan has switched loyalties to some other sport, he has taken the matter in own hands and started emulating New Zealand greats such as veteran batsman Brendon McCullum and former captain Ross Taylor.

The fan is seen impersonating both the legendary players in a second to none manner in the two videos which have been posted on social media platform Twitter by The ACC.

A near-perfect act has seen the fan alluring responses on both the videos from McCullum on the same platform. In addition to the retired cricketer, the videos have also become a source of amazement for plentiful other fans.

McCullum, who retired from international cricket in 2016 but was playing competitive cricket till last year, was slated to join Kolkata Knight Riders as his maiden season as their head coach in the 13th season of the Indian Premier League. With the tournament getting delayed due to the pandemic, the 38-year old is currently in New Zealand.

On the other hand, Taylor was part of the Kiwi squad which played an ODI against Australia behind closed doors at the SCG before the condition forced all cricketing tournaments to get delayed/cancelled.
