WATCH: Hamilton takes off shirt during podium celebrations, Max and Vettel have no clue
Lewis Hamilton has had the near perfect season in 2018, winning the championship in Mexico and then dishing out the near perfect race in Abu Dhabi today to conclude the 2018 season.
The Brit has been brilliant with his performances this season, securing 11 poles and then controlling the pace of the race to perfection.
However, what has been most heartening to see is the kind of camaraderie that Vettel and Hamilton have shared all through the season. The mutual respect has grown for each other all through, with the duo often praising each other and having each others back when grilled by the media.
Their bromance was on display today after the Abu Dhabi GP as well, when the duo praised each other for the wonderful season that they have had.
Verstappen, Hamilton and Vettel were in brilliant mood all through the post race processions, but they hadn’t quite expected what Hamilton had in store for them.
Hamilton took off his shirt and then Vettel and Verstappen poured the rose water on him.
It was probably the best way to wrap up the 2018 season, one that has been fiercely fought but has seen the top drivers have a lot of respect for each other.
