WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah gives 'smiling' send-off to Shai Hope after dismissing him with unplayable delivery during Antigua Test

Bumrah gives ‘smiling’ send-off to Shai Hope: The Indian fast bowler bowled some impeccable lines and lengths during Antigua Test.

During the fourth day of the first Test of the ongoing India’s tour of West Indies at Antigua, India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah registered his fourth Test five-wicket haul to throw out the hosts from the match.

Opening the bowling with Ishant Sharma, Bumrah registered magnificent bowling figures of 8-4-7-5 to make sure West Indies don’t stand a chance to chase down the 419-run target.

It was only in his first over that Bumrah drew first blood in the last innings of the match when he dismissed West Indies opening batsman Kraigg Brathwaite (1). In his next over, Bumrah clean bowled John Campbell (7) to send back both the opposition’s opening batsmen.

At the stroke of tea, Bumrah beat Darren Bravo (2) to send his off-stump flying in the air. With the home team reduced to 15/5 at Tea, things appeared really grim for them.

Not wasting much time in the last session, Bumrah produced another jaffa to dismiss West Indies wicket-keeper batsman Shai Hope (2) in the 12th over. In what was a rare “smiling” send-off by a pacer, the expressions on Bumrah’s face were evident of the fact that he was too good to play for the opposition batsman.

On the second delivery of the 16th over, Bumrah bowled West Indies captain Jason Holder (8) to complete his fourth five-fer in only his 11th Test.
