Kevin Durant had one of the best individual nights in Toronto yesterday, when he dished out a mammoth 51 point game to take the match against the Raptors right down to the wire.

Trailing by 3 during the dying stages of the game, Kevin Durant hit an insane three to tie the game and send it into OT.

Warriors, who were trailing by 3, needed a trey and KD, initially went in for the drive, trying to find someone on the perimeter, but couldn’t muster a pass and hence hat to come to the three point line, take a step back, turn and knock down the 3, all by himself.

And well, he did.

The crowd erupted, especially the Golden State bench, as they had seen something incredible from KD. In the absence of Steph Curry, he was putting on a show and almost single handedly keeping the Warriors in the game.

However, it ultimately wasn’t enough, as the Warriors ended up losing the game by 4 points, but nonetheless, KD and Kawhi had put on a show for the fans, and it was some of the best basketball that we had seen all season.

Drake was in attendance last night and was treated to some wonderful basketball from both teams. He particularly enjoyed the KD show, especially when he pulled up on the logo and let a 3 pointer fly.

But the highlight of the night, for Drake, at least, would be that purple nurple that he received from KD post the game.

KD also gave Drake his jersey in what was a wonderful moment after the game had come to a close. The duo had a nice laugh about it, before Durant went into the locker room.

Check out the video:

Durant has been leading the Warriors admirably during Steph Curry’s absence, trying to take them out of the slump that had engulfed them post the Draymond-KD fight and the Steph injury.

Klay Thompson and KD have had to most of the scoring during this phase, with both Green and Steph out, but with Steph nearing a return and set to play against the Pistons, it seems like the Warriors could be back in invincible form soon.

DeMarcus Cousins and Draymond are nearing their returns too and once they have their full roster in place, GSW will have 5 All Stars in their starting line up and could have all of them gelling really well before the business end of the championship.

But until then, teams would be hoping to stop the KD magic and Drake would be looking to take care of his purple nurple.
