The KFC Big Bash League has produced some nail biting thrillers so far and it was no different when Perth Scorchers squared off against Adelaide Strikers in the 51st match of the competition. The valiant efforts of Liam Livingstone went in vain as the Adelaide Strikers’ bowlers held their nerves and ensured a comfortable 16 runs victory in the end.

In a bid to chase 182, Perth Scorchers didn’t got off to a perfect start but Livingstone kept them in the chase with some sensible batting and brutal hitting. Livingstone’s knock was studded with a solitary four and 7 sixes including a 106 m six of the bowling of pacer Michael Nesser. It was just the 2nd over of the innings when Livingstone got a delivery right in his arc and he smoked it right over the long on region for a monstrous six.
