BCCI allegedly moved on from MS Dhoni amidst talk reports with Sourav Ganguly on October 24

BCCI allegedly moved on from MS Dhoni amidst talk reports between Sourav Ganguly and selectors upon his future with the team India.

Sourav Ganguly has taken over BCCI as a president and in no time he was asked about MS Dhoni’s future with team India. In response, the former Indian cricketer declared that he will meet with Virat Kohli and selectors over the issue on October 24.

Dhoni’s absence is making headlines as he has not played for team India ever since ICC World Cup 2019 ended and reports suggesting that he is making himself unavailable due to some injury.

A report in Mumbai Mirror suggests that the selectors will meet Ganguly on October 24 and convey that the Indian cricket has moved on from MS Dhoni. It has also reported that Selectors weren’t going to pick Dhoni even if he made himself available for the series against South Africa and West Indies.

It is claimed that BCCI wants to replace someone young behind the wickets. MS Dhoni has further declared himself as unavailable for the T20 matches against Bangladesh.

But it has been claimed that irrespective of Dhoni’s availability BCCI will not select him for the upcoming series against Bangladesh which is scheduled for next month.

According to the other reports, India’s selection panel led by MSK Prasad would probably give a second chance to Sanju Samson in the Indian team for the series against Bangladesh.

Samson has so far played only one match for India back in 2015 against Zimbabwe. Since then the Kerala born star has failed to make a breakthrough in the tea. Thus, the selection committee wants to try him out.
