Watch Matthijs De Ligt own goal: Juventus' €75 million signing scores an own goal against Inter Milan

Watch Matthijs De Ligt own goal: Juventus’ €75 million sensational signing scores own goal to give a lead to Inter Milan in his second match.

Matthijs De Ligt, the sensational signing made by Juventus this summer has scored his first goal ever since joining Juventus, but unfortunately it is an own goal which the high-rated defender has scored. Thus, giving Inter Milan an advantage in the match.

Both the Italian sides were in an exciting contest, before tragedy struck the Dutch International, who instead of sending a ball away misplaced the ball into his own net.

The 19-year-old central defender was ready to defend his team, against an 10th minute corner by Inter Milan. On contrary, the defender was left ashamed, when he ghastly kicked the ball inside the net from a corner ball stroked by Stefano Sensi.

Indeed, it is a nightmare start for the new Juventus signing, as the divertion caused by him made Wojciech Szczesny look helpless while guarding the goal-posts.

It is the second appearance by De Ligt for the Old Lady, and his start in the Italian club has not been as promising as was expected. Since, the player was also unable to close down the last minute goal by Harry Kane in the previous match against Tottenham.

And with this own goal, fans online are not sparing even a second to troll De Ligt, as the high-rated player was much involved in the headlines for his expensive rumours, considering he is deemed to be the next big thing.

Nevertheless, with the match approaching the second half, De Ligt still have the time to compensate for his blunder, and even if he don’t he has whole season to prove his talent, as this pre-season game hardly matter.
