Max Verstappen finished 4th in the driver’s championship this season, an achievement for the young Dutch to be able to finish above Bottas and teammate Ricciardo.
Talking about his 4th position, Verstappen took a dig at the FIA, saying that he calculated that he ended 4th in the championship and was glad that he wouldn’t have to be part of the F1 gala.
Hamilton was actually speaking about how competitive Max has been all season, staying right up there with Vettel, Hamilton and Kimi and he expects a good fight from him next year, if Red Bull can deliver the required car.
Verstappen then spoke about how he could maybe come to the FIA gala, if it counted as his two days of community service. He said that he could maybe do PR work for the drivers, write up speeches etc.
Hamilton, Vettel and the entire press room were full of laughter as Verstappen said that, as FIA had imposed a two day community service on Verstappen for his clash with Ocon.

Kimi too would be a little unhappy at having secured P3 in the championship, as he would now have to attend the gala dinner.
Coming to the battle between Vettel, Verstappen and Hamilton; next season could be the best one ever.
