Max Verstappen unveils new helmet for 2019 season, with a much fresher look
Max Verstappen is all set for the 2019 season, one where Red Bull’s decision to make the bold switch to Honda will be tested through and through.
Red Bull feel that Honda have done everything in their power to come up with an engine package that can help them compete against the likes of Mercedes and Ferrari.
Race and qualifying pace seem to be on the rise for Red Bull, but reliability could be a factor, as Honda will need more on track data to totally optimise their package with the Red Bull livery.
Now, Max Verstappen had a very fruitful second half of the season last time round, one in which he took the attack to Ferrari and provided good enough competition to Lewis Hamilton as well.
Max would be hoping that the 2019 challenger is good enough to keep him in the title fight for as long as possible.
But before all that, Max has unveiled the helmet that he’ll be wearing for the 2019 season.
Verstappen has admitted that he needed something fresh this time round and hence the new helmet is bit different from what he has been wearing prior to this season. There is more of white visible on the helmet now than blue.
“I wanted something completely fresh and different this year and think we pulled it off” Verstappen has said.
