After Final win, Dhoni and Bravo take on each other in a race

MS Dhoni and Kane Williamson will try and get their hands on that IPL trophy on Sunday, when SRH and CSK take on each other in what promises to be a very evenly contested final at the Wankhede.

Both teams have had a strong league stage, finishing in the top two and then scraping through the playoffs to make it to the finals.

However, the head-to-head record this season is not in favour of SRH, as they have lost all three of their encounters against CSK.

The playoff game though was fiercely contested, as only a Faf du Plessis special saved CSK from the jaws of defeat.

The two teams are now back to Wankhede and SRH would be confident going into the finals, especially after their spirited performance against KKR at the Eden Gardens a couple of days ago.

The two captains assembled for a pre-IPL final press conference in which Dhoni was asked about his tactics in the qualifier 1 against SRH, wherein Harbhajan Singh did not get to bowl.

Dhoni had an interesting analogy to offer whilst clarifying why Bhajji wasn’t called onto bowl in qualifier 1.

“I have quite a few cars and bikes at home, I don’t use all of them always” Dhoni said cheekily, much to the delight of all the assembled journalists.

It would be interesting too see how and if Harbhajan would be used by Dhoni in the IPL final. SRH have only one left hander in the middle order, but if Dhawan and Shakib somehow find themselves in the middle, Bhajji could be called upon in the middle overs to stifle the left-handers.

But, expect the unexpected from MS Dhoni.
