MS Dhoni's witty reply to Harsha Bhogle

MS Dhoni’s witty reply to Harsha Bhogle: Chennai Super Kings captain was his usual witty self on being asked about CSK-related secrets.

Barring Mahendra Singh Dhoni, no other captain is even close to leading his team to playoffs every single time in the Indian Premier League. The fact that he has done the same for the 10th time now speaks highly about nothing but domination on the part of the legendary cricketer.

In the 155 matches which Dhoni has captained Chennai in, the franchise has won 97 and lost 57. In what are unmatched numbers in the tournament, Dhoni oozes consistency when it comes to CSK and the IPL.

With Super Kings defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets yesterday, CSK once again reached the top of the table with 16 points in front of their name.

Speaking during the post-match presentation ceremony, Dhoni was asked by Harsha Bhogle regarding the general discussions which happen in Chennai Super Kings’ dugout. Not showing his cards on the spot, Dhoni ended up giving a witty reply.

“If I tell everyone what it is, then they won’t buy me at the auctions. It’s a trade secret. The crowd support and franchise’s support are key, of course. Huge credit has to also go to the support staff who play a huge role in keeping the team atmosphere good for the team and other individuals. Other than this, I can’t reveal anything till I retire,” Dhoni was quoted as saying.

In 10 matches for Chennai this season, Dhoni has been their top-scorer scoring 314 runs at an average of 104.66 and a strike rate of 137.11 including three half-centuries.
