WATCH: Navdeep Saini bowls 147-kmph jaffa to dismiss Danushka Gunathilaka in Indore T20I

Navdeep Saini bowls 147-kmph jaffa: The Indian fast bowler bowled an unplayable delivery to the Sri Lankan opening batsman.

During the second T20I of the ongoing Sri Lanka’s tour of India in Indore, India fast bowler Navdeep Saini bowled a pinpoint yorker to dismiss Sri Lanka opening batsman Danushka Gunathilaka.

It all happened on the fourth delivery of the eighth over when Saini’s 147.5 kmph delivery was too fast to handle for the southpaw. Having played all-round the delivery, Gunathilaka had no option that to look at his stumps getting shattered.

Opening the batting with Avishka Fernando (22), 28-year old Gunathilaka ended up scoring 20 (21) with the help of three fours. The visitors would have wanted Gunathilaka to score at a better pace especially while batting in the powerplay.

Saini, who was introduced into the attack as a first-change bowler in the third over, picked his first wicket in his second over. At the time of writing this article, Saini conceded 16 runs in the three overs that he bowled.

It was India captain Virat Kohli who won the toss and invited Sri Lanka in to bat yet again. With the last match getting abandoned due to rain, both the teams fielded an unchanged XI at the Holkar Stadium.
