Nikita Mazepin Crash : WATCH Nikita “Mazespin” Spins In Imola GP FP1, F1 Fan Creates Mazepin Spin Counter Website
Nikita Mazepin Spin : The Haas driver committed another blunder to make it seven spins in six sessions
Ever since Nikita Mazepin landed a contract with America’s only F1 team Haas, the driver has been massively ridiculed. Ardent viewers of the league have been perturbed by Nikita’s antics both on the circuit and away from it with the driver embroiled in a string of contentious issues.
From getting a deal with Haas owing to his father, Dmitry, whose company Uralkali serves as the new title sponsor of Haas to being caught groping a woman on camera, Nikita has done himself any favours. And his racing skill set hasn’t helped his cause either with Nikita doing justice to his surname.
Mazepin had ended up spiralling out of control in the Bahrain Grand Prix earlier last month. The Lap 1 spin had ended his F1 debut within a matter of minutes as Nikita lost control of turn 3 at the circuit.
Nikita had in the aftermath of the incident emphasised upon how he had learned and would ensure he didn’t spin come the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
“Yeah I’m totally over it, in the sense that I was obviously very upset and things happened very quickly,” he said on Thursday at Imola. “The moment where I realised where I ended up which was in the wall was a very painful one but you know, in Formula 1 there are 23 races.
“I’ve raced 12 rounds a year previously and then nine before that so you have your ups, you have your downs and it’s important to get as much knowledge from the bad experience as possible but then don’t drag the negativity with you because that will leave you in the place where you were when you’re trying to move on. So yeah, trying to move forward.”
Nikita Spins During Practice
Despite his assurances, Nikita decided to once again give his naysayers a chance to get on his back. Failing to address the elephant in the room, Nikita spun in his first European FP1 as the Haas driver was witnessed losing control of his car at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix circuit on Friday.
