Watch Ross Barkley goal Vs Barcelona: Chelsea midfielder extend the lead to 2-0 to secure pre-season win

Watch Ross Barkley goal Vs Barcelona: Chelsea midfielder scores a goal against Barcelona to give 2-0 lead to the Blues in the pre-season game.

Barcelona were vying against Chelsea in the first pre-season friendly game in Japan for the Rakuten Cup. Both the elite European sides are having an interesting tussle but Chelsea managed to outplay the Catalan giants.

Barcelona conceded two goals and scored none in the final phase of the game, ensuring a win for the West London club in the Pre-season fixture between both the clubs.

Barcelona had a shock in the first half of the game, as they conceded a goal in the 34th minute of the game, as Sergio Busquets made a blunder and lost the ball to Tammy Abraham, who went further and dribble past Marc Andre Ter Stegen to give a lead to Chelsea.

The Catalan giants later tried to equal the score, but failed in every attempt. On contrary, Chelsea doubled their lead in the 81st minute of the game, and secured the tie for the Chelsea, as there was no scope of recovery left for Barcelona.

The English International found the goal after he received a ball from Christian Pulisic from the left wing, thus the 25-year-old midfielder, shot the ball from outside the 18-yard-box, only to find a gap on the right corner of Barcelona’s goalpost.

Neto, who replaced Ter Stegen in the second half, was left with no response, as he failed to deny a bullet shot from the Chelsea superstar.

With Chelsea already gaining a two goal lead with last 10 minutes remaining of the game, Barcelona had no scope to make a comeback, and could only gain a consolation goal in the end.

The Blaugranas will face the Barcelona’s legend Andres Iniesta’s new club Vissel Kobe in the second pre-season match.
