WATCH: Shoaib Akhtar takes hilarious dig at Virender Sehwag; claims he has more money than Sehwag's hair

Shoaib Akhtar takes hilarious dig at Virender Sehwag: The former Pakistani speedster has answered the former Indian opening batsman in a video.

The duo of former India opening batsman Virender Sehwag and former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar had been involved in many intense battles on the field during their playing days.

Despite both of them hanging their boots from all forms of cricket years ago, they have once again got involved in a banter with respect to former Pakistani cricketers showering praises on the current Indian team.

It all started after an old video of Sehwag started to do the rounds where he accuses former Pakistani cricketers of praising the Indian team with a hidden intention of getting contracts from Indian media outlets as cricket experts.

“Shoaib Akhtar’s become a good friend of ours as he needs business in India so he has to praise us. If you look at any Shoaib Akhtar interview, you’ll notice he’s saying so many things in praise of India which he would not have said in his playing days,” Sehwag is quoted as saying in the video.

Akhtar, who is among the several former Pakistani cricketers to have started their own YouTube channel, uploaded a video on the same platform and answered Sehwag in a hilarious manner.

“My answer to Virender Sehwag is that I have more money than he has hair on his head. I am very happy that my words are given so much importance and what I say becomes breaking news.

Just tell me one Pakistan YouTuber who does not praise India when their team does well. Ramiz Raja, Shahid Afridi and others all praise the Indian side when they do well. Tell me one thing, isn’t it right that the Men in Blue are in fact the number one side in the world, isn’t it right that [Virat] Kohli is the number one batsman in the world,” Akhtar said.

Furthermore, the 44-year old also highlighted how he is famous because of playing cricket for 15 years at the highest level and not because of his YouTube channel.

“I do not understand what problem people have when I am giving my opinion on matters related to cricket. I have played for Pakistan for 15 years. I am not famous for just doing the YouTube thing. I was the fastest bowler in the world,” Akhtar added.
