Rafael Nadal is taking a well deserved break after his historic TENTH French Open title. The King of Clay lived up to his moniker as he romped his way to La Decima, without dropping a single set along the way. Now a video has surfaced in which a teenage Rafael Nadal speaks about his dreams and aspirations.

Rafa’s achievements on clay are quite simply unbelievable. People spend their entire lifetime trying to win a Grand Slam, and here Nadal has won ten times as Roland Garros. It is unheard of and a record that may never be broken.
In the video, a sixteen year old Rafa talks about his desire to be the best tennis player that had ever played the game. While he had enormous talent, the secret to Rafael Nadal has always been his incredible work ethic.
The video also shows his coach and uncle, Toni Nadal speaking about how Nadal has the potential to become a really world class player.
Nadal will now take a break from the ATP Queen’s tournament, as he bids to recover and come back fresh for Wimbledon. Nadal has admitted that his recent record at the historic Grand Slam has been quite poor, which is why he intends to correct it this time around.
