Thierry Henry's death stare

Thierry Henry’s cold stare to Monaco star: Monaco’s head coach Thierry Henry gave the coldest stare to his player for not tucking in his chair.

AS Monaco has been going through a rough patch this season. Thierry Henry was appointed the new head coach after the club parted ways with Leonardo Jardim in October.

Being already knocked out of the Champions League, Monaco will play Borussia Dortmund in their final group game.

Thierry Henry didn’t get the start he hoped for as his side was humbled 4-0 by Paris Saint Germain. However, Monaco did register two league wins since his arrival.

Even when the results on the pitch aren’t instantly visible, the 41-year old Arsenal legend is making sure that the discipline inside Monaco’s dressing room stays intact. The media saw a little glimpse of Henry’s disciplinary tendencies after the Champions League press conference yesterday.

Thierry Henry’s cold stare to Monaco star:

The Monaco head coach had Benoît Badiashile with him as he attended the press conference for the game against Borussia Dortmund.

When the media interaction ended, the two were getting ready to leave, but Badiashile forgot to tuck his chair in as he left the stage.

Thierry Henry stopped on his track and gave the coldest of stares to his youngster. The French manager didn’t leave the stage until Badiashile turned and tucked in the chair.

Here’s the video of the incident:

Thierry Henry faces a herculean task to revive AS Monaco’s season in the Ligue 1. Having already been knocked out from the Champions League, and with no possibilities of making into the Europa League, Henry can put his focus on saving the side from relegation.

However, Monaco can definitely use some momentum as they take on Borussia Dortmund in their final Champions League game.

Meanwhile, Twitter account ‘Get French Football News’ posted a poll on their account, asking fans if Thierry Henry did the right thing.
