WATCH: Virat Kohli and RCB enjoy biryani at Mohammad Siraj’s house
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Mohammed Siraj and his family were in for a big surprise when Virat Kolhi & other RCB teammates visited their home on the eve of the match against table toppers Sunrises Hyderabad (SRH).
On Sunday, after practice, RCB skipper Virat Kohli along with his teammates Mandeep Singh, Parthiv Patel and others visited the pacer’s home at Tolichowki and enjoyed Hyderabadi biryani. They were served Hyderabadi biryani along with other local delicacies.
According to the reports in Telegana Today, Virat & Co. sat on the floor and had the Hyderabadi biryani. They were also served patthar ka gosht, korma, khoobani ka mertha and double ka meetha besides biryani.
The cricketers also watched the Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) while having the food.
Check out the video:
Mohammed Siraj, son of an auto-rickshaw driver, is a Hyderabad boy and plays for RCB in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was bought by the RCB for Rs 1 crore in the January auctions. He came into recognition after a good time in the domestic cricket back in 2017. He made his International debut in a T20I against New Zealand in November last year.
RCB’s situation in the ongoing IPL season is not well as they find themselves at the bottom half. They have managed to win only 3 games out of 9 so far. With the current scenario, RCB needs to win all the remaining games to keep their chances alive in the tournament.
Both the teams will be facing each other for the very first time in this season. It will be tough for RCB to beat the consistent SRH in the encounter on Monday.
After this game, RCB next fixture is against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on 19th may.
