WATCH: Virat Kohli does Bhangra after the wicket of Dickwella
Niroshan Dickwella and India had a very feisty encounter in the dying minutes of the Eden Gardens test, with Niroshan Dickwella getting on the nerves of Mohammad Shami for deliberately wasting time when India were desperately looking for a few more deliveries in order to win the Test match.
Virat Kohli too had joined in on the verbal spat between Dickwella and Shami, expressing his dissent over Dickwella’s antics. But in the pre match press conference, Kohli said that he liked the competitive spirit in Dickwella and loves to play against such individuals on the field.
And when Dickwella was dismissed today by Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli unleashed his bhangra skills, much to the delight of all fans in the stadium.
Jadeja had deceived Dickwella in the air, who was looking to charge and hit Jadeja over mid wicket. But the ball gripped a little, and took the leading edge of Dickwella’s willow, making the ball go straight up in the air. Ishant Sharma at mid off gobbled it up easily, and Dickwella had to depart for a good looking innings of 24.
