Virat Kohli has been growing in stature all through this South Africa tour. For long now critics all over the world considered Kohli to be a flat track bully, having gotten most of his runs in sub-continental conditions.

With South Africa presenting him with seaming and swinging conditions, it was supposed to be Virat’s greatest test until now.
He was determined to perform, and brought about his A-game to South Africa, bailing India out on multiple occasions during the Test series and then coming into his own during the ODI series.
With India already 3-0 up, Virat Kohli and co. would have wanted to get the series done with today, and that is visible with the way Kohli and Dhawan have approached the first 20 overs.
Virat Kohli has looked in ominous form today, timing everything to perfection and even taking the aerial route early on in his innings to up the ante.
He produced the shot of the day today, walking down the track to Ngidi and launching it handsomely into the stands.

Kohli also held the shot for sometime in order for the photographers to have a treat to themselves.
Match Situation:
After Rohit Sharma’s early dismissal, Kohli and Dhawan have steadied the ship for India and have put up a very strong foundation for the middle order batsman to come in and take advantage of.
The South African bowlers would be hoping to pull things back, otherwise they could be staring down a score of 350+.
The Indian middle order though will have to come to the party today, something they have not yet done in this series.
