Social Media comes up with new challenges all the time. There was the ice bucket challenge, the bottle flip challenge and now, the bottle cap challenge. This particular trend involves attempting to uncap a bottle without using conventional methods.

The challenge has gone viral with many celebrities such as Jason Statham, Akshay Kumar, John Mayer and many more posting their versions online. Most people have attempted the challenge by kicking the bottle cap to flip it open. The trend has now made its way into cricket. These cricketers have however, attempted the challenge a little differently.

Yuvraj Singh posted a video of himself on this twitter account doing the challenge. The Stylish Southpaw hit a tennis ball with his bat to uncap the bottle. He then invited Brian Lara, Shikhar Dhawan, Chris Gayle and Sachin Tendulkar to attempt the challenge. Sachin was given a tougher challenge in that he had to make his attempt as a left hander.

Dhawan Responds
Shikhar Dhawan took up Yuvraj Singh’s challenge and responded with a video of his own, The Delhi opener informed that this was the first time he had picked a bat after his hand injury at the recently concluded world cup. Dhawan looked in good touch as he nailed the challenge too.

Archer’s Aim
World Cup winner Jofra Archer also took up the challenge, albeit as a commercial for a brand of soft-drinks. Archer’s has to be the most unique in that he has done this as bowler. The English pacer put three bottles up in the place of the traditional stumps. He then proceeded to send the cap of the off stump bottle flying with his pin point bowling.
