Manchester United are not done with their transfer business anytime soon!

Jose Mourinho is in his second season with Manchester United, which is historically his most successful season with his club. He has won the league during in his time with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Chelsea again. So no pressure huh?

Latest reports from Old Trafford suggest that a move for Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan is imminent. The deal could go up to 40 million and would provide depth and competition on the wings.

After the additions of Lindelof and Lukaku, Jose is now targeting a defensive midfielder who could provide protection to the back four. This move could also break the shackles on Pogba and finally let the Frenchman fulfill his potential.

After courting Matic for a long time, Mourinho has decided to shift his attention to Tottenham star Eric Dier.

Dier has become a star with Tottenham, as the Englishman has flourished as a defensive midfielder. He started off as a centre back and eventually made his way into the midfield.

His positional flexibility is also a reason why he seems like an attractive target.

According to reports, Tottenham have already rejected United’s first bid of 50 million pounds. Spurs consider Dier a future captain and are not ready to sell him.

As a last ditch effort, United are now going to submit a 60 million ‘take it or leave it’ offer to Tottenham.

The ball is now in Tottenham’s court!
