In an update regarding his streaming platform, Trainwreckstv tweeted details about Kick.com. The platform is being pitted against Twitch as one of its rivals. With the backing of Trainwreckstv, the platform is being presented as a creator-friendly platform.

As mentioned above, the Kick streaming platform is being presented as a streaming platform that will monetarily favor creators even though it is in its beta stage. In the first update regarding the platform, Trainwrecks told his Twitter audience that the platform will have a 95-5 percent revenue split, in the favor of the creators.
In subsequent tweets, he also mentioned details regarding viewer tips and other compensations the creator would get. Tyler ‘Trainwreck’ Niknam has been critical of the ways Twitch functions as a streaming platform. He says it does nothing to provide any marketing value to its creators. He said:
“Twitch does nearly no marketing for streamers, no discovery, and limited help in building their business. Those streamers only succeed from the blood, sweat, and time they put into themselves. Twitch’s only role is as a website host. Given their contribution, it is absurd that they take 50% of our income.”

In the TwitLonger post, Niknam continued to explain he will be joining the platform as a “non-owner advisor and non-exclusive broadcaster.” Moreover, he continued to explain the features of the platform:
- Every creator will get a sub button and a 95%-5% subscriber split with the money going to the streamer.
- 100% of all tips, called “kicks,” will be given to the streamer with same-day withdrawal.
- The platform will also be an “innovative new exclusive creator program that will pay our partners for their stream’s success.”
- “A TOS designed to be fair to streamers with clear rules on what’s okay and not okay.”

While there is no confirmation about the ownership of Kick is currently unconfirmed, leakers say the streaming platform is owned by Stake.com. Besides that, a job listing posted on Easygo says: “Kick.com is a new venture created by the founders of Easygo and Stake.com.”
