We hear and see lots of activity on social media regarding the unpleasant state of mind of the disappointed India and Pakistan fans, whenever one of the two sides bow down while clashing against each other.
On expected lines, the Pakistani fans also vented their frustrations on their team’s 89-run defeat (DLS Method) against arch-rivals India, for the record 7th successive time in World Cup matches, at Manchester on June 16.
But, this recent video (involving a Pakistani fan) which is doing quite some rounds on social media, shows the extreme and disgraceful side of the so-called fans of the game, which has clearly stooped down to an all-time low.
What did the Pakistani fan comment?
A video is now going viral on the social media that shows a Pakistani ‘so-called fan’ disgracefully mocking Sarfaraz Ahmed in public. This is the second incident, when one of the so-called fans have indulged in a disgraceful act of extreme criticism.
Don’t be concerned; all of us love you guys. Pakistan cricket fans get angry only momentarily, however, their love for their team is eternal. See how Pakistanis still love and adore Wasim Akram even years after his retirement. Stay strong; we’ve got your back.👊🇵🇰🏏 https://t.co/zj3cVY16Gq

What’s more worse, is the fact that the man has apparently lost all his senses to not even bother that the Pakistani skipper had his son in his arms.
Sarfaraz, initially thought that the person wished to take a selfie with him, as he had greeted him with the word- ‘Bhai (brother) in the beginning of the video. But, the moment he appeared in front of the camera, the person began using the cuss words and foul language which would put any fan of the sport to shame.
Bhai, Bhai, aap suar jaise mote kyu ho gye ho? (Brother, Brother, why have you grown up to become fat like a pig?), questioned the man in the video. Sarfaraz, just like a sane person would do, decided not to respond to the man and walked away silently.
There is a fine line between criticism and disparagement, and the fans need to understand the same. We need to learn that apart from constructive criticism, we should not devour on anything that not only brings a bad name to ones’s country, but also to the sport at large.
