Williams F1 news: Williams could be forced to cancel Saturday filming and first day of testing
Williams welcome the dawn of a new era, as they have roped in ROKiT to be their title sponsor for the 2019 season.
The car has a new livery, with a tinge of blue to be seen along with the traditional white.
Now, while the launch did excite the traditional Williams romantic, all is not well in the Williams camp ahead of Barcelona testing next week.
According to reports, Williams are behind on schedule with respect to car assembly and face a massive challenge for filming day on Saturday and for the first day of testing.
ahimè non ci sono buone notizie. Tra l’altro sono molto in ritardo con l’assemblaggio della vettura. Molto a rischio il filming day di sabato e addirittura il primo giorno di test.

Now, this would be a minor setback for the team, who is trying to get things right this season, having finished last in the constructor’s championship.
While teams do leave things for the last moment, it is not that common for them to missing out on or postponing filming sessions. Missing the first day of Barcelona testing though could be really catastrophic, as Williams would be losing out on a lot of data.
The new colours have been received with mixed feelings by the fans and Claire Williams too was very anxious about them.
“Frank loved it, and you might be surprised to hear that.” Williams said.
“I was a little nervous presenting it to him.
“Frank is very traditional and protective of the traditional navy blue and white, but also understanding of the arguments behind the change.
“We are telling the world a very clear story and clear message as to where we are as a company.
“He is fully behind it.
“I am still here, and if he didn’t like it, he would have fired me.” she added.
Do you think Williams will have a good season?
