It is funny to say that Wrestlemania has suddenly become a must watch event as this is the biggest wrestling event in the year. But the events that have transpired over the last week have taken this up a few notches. (Why Wrestlemania 33 has suddenly become a Must Watch event !)
Fastlane has ended and that means the WWE Universe is well and truly on the road to Wrestlemania 33.
Fastlane has changed the WWE landscape as Goldberg has completed arguably the greatest return in WWE history when he captured the WWE Universal Title from Kevin Owens thanks in no small part to Chris Jericho.
Over on SmackDown we now know that Randy Orton, who has turned on his mentor, will face his Wyatt brother Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship.

The Mid Card looks promising
If you look at the last few Wrestlemania cards we have seen that we will get atleast one tag match, one filler match and multi man match which will give many wrestlers on the roster a chance to be on the card.
For this year it looks like we might have a few star heavy matches in the midcard. The Jericho-Owens match will most likely take place somewhere in the middle of the night. Also the tag team titles would be defended and it would be a shame if the likes of Enzo,Cass, Gallows and Anderson don’t get their first taste of Wrestlemania.
The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will also take place but the major highlight of the mid card has to be the imminent John Cena and Nikki Bella vs The Miz and Maryse.(Why Wrestlemania 33 has suddenly become a Must Watch event !)
The Undertaker vs Roman Reigns could steal the show !
This is the match that might just define Wrestlemania 33. Roman Reigns has become a pseudo heel over the last few weeks and while he won some fans over after his victory over Braun Strauman at Fastlane the return of the Undertaker has dampened his celebratory tide in a hurry.
Many have been disappointed because we will not be able to have the dream matchup between Cena and Taker. But this match has all the star power that you require in a returning legend going toe to toe with a young stud making his way up the ladder.
If the WWE is smart about this, they should pencil in a Roman Reigns victory over the Deadman at this year’s Mania. Nothing changes if the Undertaker wins, but the whole game would change if Roman will reign over the Deadman.
AJ Styles vs Shane McMahon ?
AJ Styles has just had the greatest debut year in WWE history which has won him a legion of fans in the WWE Universe.
But you just can’t help but feel that he deserves to be in the main event this year. His loss to Orton on SmackDown meant that he will not wrestling in the biggest match of the year but instead finds himself in limbo.

Tensions have been simmering between the two over the last few weeks with AJ exploding after his loss to Orton. Could these two settle their differences in the ring at Mainia ?
The Main Events are interesting !
Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt could be a sleeper match that might surprise quite a few on the big day. While this is the biggest platform that Bray Wyatt has had in his career, this is also a chance for Orton to have his big Wrestlemania moment.
He has achieved everything that one can achieve in his stellar WWE career but Randy Orton is still searching for his big moment on the biggest night of the year. This year he may finally get that.
Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar II has been building up ever since Goldberg shocked the world and destroyed Brock in barely a minute at the Survivor Series.
While Goldberg is the champion now, we might assume that Brock will get his revenge at Mania and become the new champion. At least that is what common sense tells us.
But then again anything can happen in the WWE.
Wildcards !
We are not quite sure about what will happen between Triple H and Seth Rollins. But considering the fact that Rollins is legit hurt , we cannot yet assume that he will fight the Game at Wrestlemania.
And what about Samoa Joe who has looked like a beast ever since his main roster debut. And speaking about beasts, Braun Strauman also deserves a good spot considering the great work that he has been doing lately.
Oh and by the way Fin Balor is back !
The Road to Wrestlemaina is as always a bumpy ride. We might as well enjoy it while it lasts.
