Wrestlemania 36 serves a masterpiece with Firefly Fun House match between John Cena vs ‘Fiend’ Bray Wyatt

Wrestlemania 36 serves a masterpiece with Firefly Fun House match between John Cena vs ‘Fiend’ Bray Wyatt that left everyone stunned.

John Cena vs Bray Wyatt is perhaps the greatest wrestling match in history that wasn’t technically a wrestling match. Yesterday we were treated to a cinematic treat through the Boneyard match between the Undertaker and AJ Styles, tonight we were treated to a whole other kind of theatrics.

Bray Wyatt has long been touted in the WWE as a person with Supernatural tendencies and the promotion took complete advantage of that during the Firefly Fun House match between him and John Cena.

The match, if you can even call it that, is going to be hard to describe. The match began with Cena taking to the ring at the performance centre. However, he was transported to the place inside Wyatt’s mind where he was warned by Rambling rabbit not to follow Bray.

Cena did that regardless and ran into the Vince McMahon puppet who told Cena he wanted to some Ruthless Aggression or he would fire him.

He then went to a trip through his and the WWE’s history courtesy of Wyatt in the strangest of manners.

Cena then appeared as the Doctor of Thuganomics out of nowhere before Wyatt laid the guilt trip on him for being a bully who buried people.

Wyatt himself took to an old gimmick of himself before warping Cena to WCW.

The Fiend was finally introduced at the very end. He then locked Cena in the mandible claw while Cena’s promo from last Friday played. A pin followed and Cena lost the epic showdown.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
