Vince McMahon Backlash 2023

Following this week’s Monday Night RAW, there has been a lot of backlash towards Vince McMahon. WWE fans have been criticizing the former CEO for ruining the RAW after WrestleMania 39. Reports claim the episode saw many last-minute chances which were done by him. In fact, many critics believe this year’s edition of the show was the worst of all time. As per a recent report, Endeavor Group, the new owner of WWE, is aware of all the criticism thrown at Vince McMahon.

Other than WrestleMania 39, there’s just one thing that has been creating headlines this week. And it’s Vince McMahon merging his WWE with the parent company of UFC, Endeavor Group. Thanks to the deal, the 77-year-old can now once again make creative decisions.

Endeavor Group is aware that fans want Vince McMahon fired from WWE

Mr. McMahon’s return to power hasn’t received a positive reaction from WWE fans. They are unhappy with his involvement in WWE creative and, in fact, want the new owners to fire him.

Steve Carrier of RingsideNews, recently discussed the #FireVince trend that fans have started on social media. According to his WWE source, the owners are well aware of the whole thing.

In his report, Steve Carrier claimed Endeavor Group is also mindful of the criticism Vince McMahon is receiving right now. Be it rewritten scripts or anything else, he claimed the new owners know everything. He stated:

“They’re aware of all the criticism of Vince’s [McMahon] rewritten scripts and anything else you could think of.”

Ever since Vince McMahon returned to the WWE Board of Directors, fans have unanimously opposed that. Back then, he had power and control which is why, nobody could stop him. Now that the company is under new ownership, let’s see how the whole issue will be handled.

“Yes and No”- Mr. McMahon stated when asked whether he will be involved in the WWE Creative

After the deal with Endeavor Group, Vince McMahon spoke with CBNC where he answered many questions. During the interview, Vinnie Mac was also asked if he would be involved in WWE creative just like in the past.

“Yes, and No”, he stated and added that he will be involved on a higher level. As to small or weekly creative decisions, Vince claimed he will not be involved there.

Nevertheless, considering what happened on RAW after WrestleMania 39, it seems he is back, making all the creative decisions. Fans are displeased which means, the new WWE owners need to find a solution quickly. Though as of now, there is no report about how Endeavor looks to sort out its Vince McMahon problem.
