Finn Balor’s rise to the top of WWE was nothing short of meteoric. He went on to become the innaugral WWE Universal Champion in his first ever Pay Per View on the main roster. Unfortunately, an injury kept him out for over a year.
Balor eventually returned but did not hit the heights of his his first run. He went down to NXT back in 2019 where he seems to have refreshed and reinvented himself. Fans will hope to emulate his NXT run on SmackDown as well, as he continues to strive to become a two-time Universal Champion.
