Chris Jericho comments on top WWE Superstar. The AEW Star has not been watching WWE but is aware of the Superstar’s progress.

One of the most consistent criticisms that WWE recieves is their habit of overscripting their product. Roman Reigns was a victim of this for years. The WWE pushed him in every way possible and placed him as their top guy at every given opportunity. However, the fans outright rejected him because many could not buy into the character he was selling.

Reigns eventually turned heel last year and has since won the fans over with his character work. Chris Jericho, who has worked with Reigns in the past, was asked about the Tribal Chief during his appearance on Konnan’s Keepin’ it 100 show. Jericho admitted that he did not watch SmackDown but was already very well aware of what he was capable of.

“I haven’t [kept up] but I’ve been reading about it and it’s no surprise. When I was there in 2016 I worked with Roman basically all around the world. I was a heel, he was a babyface. Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
