Io Shirai Vs Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship set to main event Night 1 of NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver.
For long it was rumored that the Wrestlemania card would involve NXT Talent this year. The reports were plausible considering that it was a two night affair like the year before. Instead however, the WWE announced that NXT would have it’s own two day event as well!

Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez were awarded the first ever NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. They lost the title on the very same night to Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart. An infuriated Gonzalez was later confronted by NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai, who challenged her to a match.
The event will also see both NXT Cruiserwight Champions, Jordan Devlin and Santos Escobar in a title unification match. The likely main event will be Karrion Kross’ pursuit of the NXT Championship from Finn Balor, a title he never lost.
