NXT Superstar issues apology for leaking major spoiler

NXT Superstar issues apology during a backstage meeting for leaking major spoiler. He hasn’t been featured or mentioned on TV since.

The WWE have gone out of their way to keep their storylines a secret until it comes to fruition. Despite the show being taped in advanced these days, the promotion has done very well in keeping everything under wraps. Everything except one huge spoiler.

Adam Cole and Keith Lee were booked to face each other in a historic ‘Winner Takes All’ match. The victor would have been crowned the first ever NXT double champion. However, the result of the match was spoiled almost a week in advance when NXT’s Saurav Gurjar unwittingly posted a picture of Lee celebrating with both the titles on his Instagram.

Gurjar quickly took down the post. However, the image of Keith Lee lofting both of NXT’s singles titles with confetti falling upon him all but confirmed the outcome of a match that NXT had long been building towards.


The Indus Sher member issued an apology for his actions during a backstage meeting held at the last set of taping according to Sean Ross Sapp of FightFul Select. While the Indus Sher are yet to be mentioned or seen on TV since the spoiler, the report adds that there is no significant heat on Gurjar and no punishments are expected.

The report also mentions that the tag team are seen favourably Matt Bloom, who has been a big proponent of them in the past.
