The WWE reportedly however, do not want to rely on the former NFL punter as their top heel and have scheduled his return to the show next spring. This prompted McAfee to jokingly ask if he had gotten fired on Christmas.

A fan tweeted at McAfee during his “I don’t want to overreact” segment on his radio show that he was fired because they were tired of cleaning spray tan off the canvas before suggesting him to get some sun.

McAfee addressed the tweet by cutting a hilarious promo on the fan.

“Hey Benny Butz, get off my ass, dude,” McAfee said. “I tried to get some sun, son, but Indiana doesn’t have any for like five or six months, what do you want from me? I’m super caucasian, I become red easily. I have a tanning bed in my house, but I got third-degree burns from the first time I laid on it. My entire body looked like a goddamn zebra for six months. I can’t use it, so I use the spray tan.

“My first match, NXT TakeOver 30 against Adam Cole, I made some rookie mistakes and I should have been undefeated after that match. Maybe I got too dark of a spray tan. I didn’t go to my spray tan machine; I went to another one down in Florida and maybe that one was cooked a little too much.

“Maybe, when I was sweating, it was falling onto the canvas. Maybe everything that guy is saying is close to accurate, but that doesn’t mean I should have to read on the internet, all day Christmas, that NXT has just written me off of television for the rest of my life. F*ck you, Benny Butz!”

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
