Paul Wight is All Elite: Former WWE Star Big Show joins AEW. The former WWE Champion was recently moved to the WWE’s alumni section.
For many WWE fans today, the Big Show is one of the few stars who are synonymous with the WWE. It feels like he has been in the promotion since forever. However, he was suddenly and quitely moved to WWE’s Alumni section on the 19th of this month.

His bio page stated that he “was” a feared competitor, implying that he would no longer perform for them. The 7-footer also removed all references to the WWE from his social media. Many believed that it meant he was done with wrestling. That however, turned out to be false and it seems he is actually gearing up for a restart.

AEW have announced the signing of Big Show on their social media. Their tweet read: ‘Paul Wight is All Elite’.

According to the announcement, Show, now known by his real name Paul Wight, will serve as a commentator on AEW Dark: Elevation apart from preforming in the ring.
“Wight will have an extensive role within AEW, and on top of his return to the ring, he will serve as a commentator on AEW’s newest show, AEW Dark: Elevation.”
Speaking regarding his new workplace, Wight said:
“It’s been amazing to watch what AEW has built in just a couple of years. AEW Dark is an incredible platform to hone the skills of up-and-coming wrestlers, but I also love that established AEW talent can build out their personalities and showcase themselves in new ways on Dark. It’s no exaggeration when they say that AEW is boundless.”
Wight had a glittering career in the WWE. He held the WWF/WWE Championship twice, WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship twice and the ECW World Heavyweight Championship once. The 7-footer is also a former WCW Champion making him the only wrestler to have won all four titles.
He has also won the WWF/World, WWE and WCW World Tag Team Championships multiple times along with the Intercontinental, United States and Hardcore championships, making him the 24th Triple Crown and 12th Grand Slam winner in WWE history.
