Charlotte Flair hits out at fans that think she’s selfish and greedy. The Queen won the RAW Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank.
Charlotte Flair beat Rhea Ripley at Money in the Bank to win her 5th RAW Women’s Championship. This is her 13th Woment’s Championship, which is 6 more than the two women who share the second place. This has led to fans critcizing her for receiving more opportunities than other wrestlers.
Speaking on Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast, Flair responded to fans who complain about her stating that they need to “look at the facts” surrounding her title reigns. The Queen mentioned not winning the RAW Women’s Championship since 2017, 1,616 days since she last held it and added that fans would not say the same to male superstars who were equally ambitious.
Charlotte Flair hits out at fans that think she’s selfish and greedy
“First of all, the women’s division is so much smaller than the men’s division. So that’s part of the issue as a whole, right? But here’s the thing, I have not won the RAW Women’s Championship since 2017, so I’m greedy because I want to win it in 2021? People don’t look at the facts.
“I want more. I know people are like, ‘Well, you’ve done it all.’ So because I main-evented WrestleMania once, am I not supposed to want to do it again? I know [imagine telling that to John Cena or Roman Reigns], but that’s how I feel right now. I feel like, ‘Charlotte, you’re selfish,’ or this or, you know.”
Flair has held the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship 5 times each. She has also won the NXT Women’s Championship twice and Divas Championship once. She has also won the Women’s Tag Team Championshps, making her a Grand Slam Champion, only the fourth in the company to do so.
