Reason why Dave Batista will not be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame this year revealed
Reason why Dave Batista will not be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame this year revealed. The Animal was part of the class of 2020.
The WWE did not host the Hall of Fame last year due to the still ongoing pandemic. The ceremony will take place this year and will feature both the class of 2020 and 2021.
The class of 2020 includes “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman as the nWo, the Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella), John “Bradshaw” Layfield, The British Bulldog and Japanese legend Jushin “Thunder” Liger.
Dave Batista was originally part of this group. However, he has been removed and will not be on the Hall of Fame this year.

The former World Champion is an immense name in the company’s history and would very likely be the headlining act of the class of 2020. He flourished in the WWE and continues to be a success in his postwrestling career with Hollywood. So why is he no longer part of the Hall of Fame?
Real reason why Dave Batista will not be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame this year revealed
Fightful previously reported that Batista is no longer planned for the show because the WWE want to induct him in the presence of a capacity crowd. However, Dave Meltzer is of the opinion that it has more to do with a scheduling issue. Speaking on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said:
“So Dave Bautista is not going into the Hall of Fame after all. The reason floating around was that there was a date conflict with him. So it’s weird.”
Date issues are not uncommon in Hollywood. Even former WWE Champion and face of the company, John Cena, will be missing Wrestlemania for the first time in over a decade and a half this year due to a conflict with his shooting schedule.
However, unlike Wrestlemania, the Hall of a Fame is a pre-taped event. Which means Batista could have simply gotten around his schedule by filming a video. Although, it is likely he wanted to be a part of the event in person, in which case, the postponement does make sense.
