It has emerged, unsurprisingly, that Sting wasn’t too pleased with his time in the WWE. WrestleTalk‘s Louis Dangoor has revealed that Sting was unhappy with his treatment in WWE, during his time with the company.

Fans had long desired a match between Sting and The Undertaker. This seemed like a genuine possibility when he joined Vince McMahon’s promotion. However, the two never even had a face off! Instead he got into a feud with Triple H in a WCW vs WWE storyline where he fought his first match at Wrestlemania and lost.

Dave Meltzer recently revealed that Sting wanted to fight the Undertaker in a cinematic match but Vince turned him down. Knowing what we knew from before and what we know now it comes as no surprise that Sting was unhappy.

He has now joined AEW as a full-time roster member. The report adds that he did so in order to do “something good” for the fans before he pulls the curtain on his career. However, he will likely not take any bumps due to his aforementioned neck issues.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
