T-Bar accuses Sammy Guevara of stealing his finisher, the AEW star responds. Neither of the two held their thoughts back.

AEW and WWE fans have continually bickered amongst each other since the inception of the Tony Khan led promotion. The stars on both sides however, have remained cordial with each other for the most part. Although, it seems we may have our first instance of a beef between two stars from the opposite companies.

WWE’s T-Bar minced no words when he claimed that an AEW wrestler stole his finisher four years ago after they did a show together. He did not name anyone. However it became who he was talking about when Sammy Guevara took a shot back at the Retribution member.

T-Bar accuses Sammy Guevara of stealing his finisher, the AEW star responds

“Some little teenage virgin on AEW stole my finisher like four years ago after we did a show together,” T-Bar wrote. “I’d steal something from his move set but it’s all just @KingRicochet moves.”

Not one to take things lying down, Guevara wrote back:

“Someone tell T-Bag the move actually belongs to Matt Demorest (the guy he stole it from) & I’m just trying to get the move to be seen since you know he’s never on TV.”

It was very common for WWE and WCW stars to have a go at each other during the Monday night wars. In this day and age where most stars start from the independent scene, they’ve all worked with each other before making into either of the companies.

Which means they’ve either been friends or are at least familiar with each other. This has resulted in them being mostly supportive of each other regardless of promotion. Which is why this recent exchange is surprising. Is this the opening of the floodgates or an exception to the norm? We will surely find out in time.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
