After a stellar WrestleMania 39, an emotional video of The Miz and John Cena has come to the fore from the show. The Miz and John Cena did not quite have a favorable WrestleMania moment this year. The Miz was the show host of both nights, alongside the co-host, Snoop Dogg. On night 1, the two-time WWE Champion was forced to compete with the returning Pat McAfee in an impromptu match in a losing effort. Pat McAfee was joined by football tight end, George Kittle, who contributed to The Miz’s loss.
On night 2, The Miz faced Shane McMahon in yet another impromptu match, only to be suckered punched by Snoop Dogg. As to John Cena, the Cenation leader suffered a loss at the hands of Austin Theory, who hit Cena with a low blow to pick up the win. But at some point, during the show, the duo met backstage and had a heart-to-heart talk.

In the viral video, The Miz is seen expressing his gratitude towards the sixteen-time World Champion. The 42-year-old is seen talking about how John Cena passes his valuable advice to younger talents. The Miz happens to be one of the recipients of John’s advice. While he paid his respect, John stood smiling and appreciating The A-Lister for his kind words.

In 2011, John Cena and The Miz squared off in the main event for the WWE Championship. Although John gave The Miz a beating in the ring, the interference from The Rock cost John Cena the win.
That was a pivotal point in The Miz’s wrestling career. It’s uplifting to see the level of mutual respect the two wrestler-turned-actors have for each other.
John Cena names The Miz as one of his favorite heel superstars
Although The Miz had a bumpy start in WWE, he found his way to the top eventually. It’s widely known that The Miz was once thrown out of the locker room by Chris Benoit during his rookie years. But the former WWE Champion was able to weather the storm with patience and stoicism.
In WWE’s docu-series, WWE Evil, The Miz was featured as one of the top villains in WWE history. John Cena took to Twitter and stated that The Miz was one of his favorite heel superstars in the business.
In a typical heel fashion, the A-Lister tweeted back and reminded John Cena about his loss at WrestleMania 27. John Cena then tweeted back and lauded The Miz for his hard work and dedication on the wrestling business.
One of my favorite bad guys and #WrestleMania opponents. He reminds everyone all the time! #WWEEvil https://t.co/FGtt6PfEhU

I do. Vividly. You worked your a** off on the road to the event and at the event itself. Sacrificing your body during the event to do all you could to give the audience every ounce, even possibly at the expense of your own memory. Your passion and dedication hasn’t ever changed. https://t.co/VJkfwOOiYV
