Corey Graves had previously compared his love life with Total Divas star and WWE Superstar Carmella to that of Pandas in captivity.
Former SmackDown Women’s champion and the first ever money in the bank winner, Carmella recently made an appearance on Just the Sip where she discussed her relationship with fellow WWE star Corey Graves.

Carmella admitted that she felt insulted by Graves’ comparison of their love life to that of pandas in captivity during one of their Instagram live. However, she has since come around and understood the point he was trying to make with that analogy.

“[He] made it seem like he didn’t want to mate with me in quarantine,” Carmella said. “And he didn’t realize it was coming out of his mouth, that is was like insulting.”
“It got picked up by all these news sites and it turned into this huge thing,” she expressed. “And I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m great now that the entire world knows that you don’t want to have sex with me, so that’s cool.'”
“Apparently, pandas don’t like to mate when they’re in captivity and that’s what he compared it to,” she expressed. “I was like, ‘Can you just clarify this for everyone and know it’s nothing that I’m doing wrong, ok? This is on your end buddy.'”
Carmella also revealed that Graves eventually realized his words were insensitive and apologized to her.
“The internet blows everything up! “Carmella added. “So, he said one little thing—it was a joke—and then it turned into this whole thing. He’s like, ‘You think I don’t have sex with my girlfriend? Come on!’ But you know how the internet works.”
For all the misunderstanding it caused, the aforementioned Instagram Live led to the creation of ‘Bare With Us,’ a new Podcast by Carmella and Graves where they discuss relationship issues including those most couples would find uncomfortable addressing, especially in a public space.
