WWE Rumors: Is SmackDown Star 'Andrade' Set for a Push?

WWE Rumors: Is SmackDown Star ‘Andrade’ Set for a Push? He might be in for one according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer talked about a certain wrestler on the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio. The wrestler in question;El Idolo Andrade. He spoke on how he is becoming popular among pretty much everyone backstage and is receiving high marks for his work.

This is what Meltzer said about the former NXT Champion:

“Andrade has gotten high marks from everyone of late. He’s gotten great reviews from the live event producers and the talent is also as a general rule really positive regarding his ability. He’s pretty much become universally loved. Vince wants to push him but does feel his English is going to hold him back. Through talent relations, they’ve given him an English tutor to speed him up in that regard. He’s been speaking more English in his promos of late because they want him to get more practice at it, rather than just rely on Vega to do it for him”.

Meltzer also believes that going out of Money in the Bank, Andrade will feud with Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship. Both of these wrestlers are part of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

On this week’s SmackDown, Andrade pinned Finn Balor to win a fatal four match between the Smackdown’s side of participants. The other two wrestlers in that match were Randy Orton and Mustafa Ali.

Andrade is a fantastic wrestler. However, it is unlikely that he will win the Money in the Bank this year. That doesn’t matter though as long as he looks good coming out of it.

Money in the Bank will take place on May 19, 2019, at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
