Klopp was clearly in a sullen mood after being schooled by City
While Jurgen Klopp’s jovial nature is well documented when things are going hunky dory for him, many have cited a hue and cry from the German once results stop swinging his way.
Touted to be an extremely difficult man once his side loses a match of football, Klopp is finally proving his naysayers to be right. With results not being favourable to Liverpool this term, the side’s supremo has been once found taking jibes at managers and reporters directing questions his way.
Klopp Comes Up With Distasteful Reply
His cranky personality came to the fore during Liverpool’s 4-1 routing at the hands of Manchester City. Questioned by a reporter on if Liverpool could catch City given the massive gap which had opened up between the two, Klopp refused to give a straightforward reply as he decided to hit out at the reporter.
Jurgen Klopp: “I really think you should prepare for your job a little bit better. Do you really think this is an appropriate question in the moment? You have only two questions and you waste one for that.”
The Liverpool manager continued with his tirade as he kept attacking the reporters and refused to entertain anymore questions from him.
Liverpool are currently staring at a 10 point deficit from Manchester City after being trounced 4-1 at the weekend. The result has all but put to bed any talk of Liverpool still fighting for this edition’s title with City set to sweep their way to the glistening trophy.
Liverpool are currently in their worst period under Klopp’s reign. The club has lost its last three matches at Anfield with the club making for a bleak and timid image of the side which was torching its way to the tile last term.
