Watch the video of Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring a belter bicycle goal for LA Galaxy.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is having a fantastic season with Los Angeles Galaxy, bagging 11 goals and 3 assists in 12 games. Galaxy are second in the league and look likely to miss out on the title as they trail Los Angeles FC. To make things worse, they lost the game against New England which ruined their hopes of lifting the title.
LA Galaxy were trailing 2-0, courtesy to New England’s Christian Penilla and Teal Bunbury’s strikes in the second half. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a spectacular overhead kick in the 84th minute, but it was a consolation goal.
When the Swedish International received the ball, he self-controlled the ball perfectly before scoring an overhead kick to see the net bulge. It was a spectacular goal, considering his age as he turns 38 in four months. It was nothing short of spectacular from the man, who has already scored goals in this manner – famously against England.
Since leaving the Red Devils, Zlatan has found the back of the net 32 times and 10 assists in 38 games – which contributes to more than one goal per game – a turnout which is nothing short of phenomenal. The 37-year-old badly suffered an injury when he was at Old Trafford, which prompted the club to let him leave on free to the Major League Soccer in January 2018.
