PV Sindhu failed to win her second successive Super Series titles

PV Sindhu aimed for her second successive Super Series title. Having won her maiden Super Series title in China, she could’ve made it two out of two in November. However, she faltered at the finals of Hong Kong Open.

Both the finalists had won a Super series this year before this final. While Sindhu had won China Super Series, Tzu Ying had won Indonesian Super Series.
