Rafa Nadal is back ! (Nadal confirms plans for the Grass Court season !)
That much was clear from his superb performance in the Australian Open last month. He showed flashes of his genius in Melbourne and gave people hope that he could once again be the icon that he was for so many years.
His heartbreaking loss aside in the final, Nadal played some of his best tennis in years which clearly showed that he was not done with playing just yet.
And now he has stepped up his plans for the Grass court season which is going to start very soon. A resurgent Rafael Nadal will warm up for Wimbledon by returning to The Queen’s Club for the Aegon Championships in June.

He had missed the entire Grass Court season last year due to a wrist injury. But his encouraging performances in Australia gives him and his fans hope that he could yet perform on the big stage at Wimbledon.
“I am very happy to be coming back to Queen’s…. It is the best way for me to be ready for Wimbledon,” the Spanish left-hander said in a statement. (Nadal confirms plans for the Grass Court season !)
He lifted the Wimbledon trophy for the first time in 2008 just three weeks after his maiden triumph at Queen’s Club.
Rafael Nadal has won two Wimbledon titles with his second one coming in 2010. He has traditionally performed well in Wimbledon only after a good run at Queens. He also reached the Wimbledon final five times between 2006 and 2011. He also made it to the quarters or better at the warm-up event.
The Queen’s Club tournament will be held from June 19-25. Rafa Nadal and his fans will be hoping to see him back to his best in London. (Nadal confirms plans for the Grass Court season !)
