Man Utd Owners: Glazers confiscate £1 billion and £500 million club debt remains untouched claims Darren Gough
Manchester United owners have confiscated more than £1 billion and the club is in £500 million debt claims Gough.
Ex-England cricketer Darren Gough has made a remarkable claim about Manchester United owners. The Glazers have confiscated more than one billion pounds and the club is in a massive debt of five hundred million pounds in that avow.
The Glazers have been pointed out for the recent shortcomings over the last few years. The Red Devils have failed to charge for the Premier League title since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. The fans believe that the owners see the club as a financial gain rather than leading the club to success again.
Former England fast bowler Darren Gough spoke to TalkSport about the worrying position of Manchester United.
He said: “The debt is well under 500 million pounds. The capital debt has not been paid since 2011. Only interest has been paid. The interest alone is set to be 786 million pounds which is the finance crossover over the last thirteen years,”
“Since putting up the club in the stock market, the share sales worth 452 million pounds have not been invested in Manchester United. The owners of the Football club have taken that money away.
“Dividends is set to be 78 million pounds since 2013. Liverpool and Manchester United do not pay dividends to their owners. Director fees have cost 75 million pounds since they have taken over the club.”
“Manchester United are still powerhouses in the financial market, but the owners of Manchester City have pumped one billion pounds since they have taken over the club in 2008. In the meanwhile, Glazers have taken over 1 billion from Manchester United alone.”
This is a remarkable statement from Darren Gough, in an interview with TalkSport. Even though Gough supporters Barnsley, he took over the responsibility to point the mistake at the owners.
In recent days, GlazersOut are trending in Twitter as Manchester United fans hope for a solution sooner or rather than later.
