Shikhar Dhawan posts hilarious comment: Injured Indian opener took on his Instagram handle to comment on fellow fast bowler’s post.

India opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan recently posted a hilarious comment on fellow fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s Instagram post with his wife Nupur Nagar. The pacer had posted a photo of being with his wife on a beach.

Dhawan, who succumbed to a thumb injury after being hit during the match against Australia in the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, was quick to judge the romantic angle in the post.

Not shying away from commenting, Dhawan wrote “Haye mera Aashiq” on Bhuvneshwar’s post. The latter is yet to reply on Dhawan’s comment.

As far as their recent performance is concerned, Dhawan scored 8 and 117 in the two matches he played in the world Cup. The southpaw is currently rehabilitating in the National Cricket Academy. At this point in time, there is no clarity on whether Dhawan will regain full fitness for the upcoming tour of West Indies.

On the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar played as many as six matches in the tournament despite getting injured. Bhuvneshwar dismissed 10 wickets at an average of 26.90, an economy rate of 5.20 and a strike rate of 31.

If reports are to be believed, India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is set to be rested for the upcoming tour of West Indies. If the same happens, Bhuvneshwar will be seen leading an Indian attack comprising of young fast bowlers.
