India’s tour of West Indies might not be the biggest cricketing rivalry in the modern times but the all-format tour has plenty to facets to work upon for both the teams. Starting from August 3, India will play three T20Is, three ODIs and a couple of Test matches within a span of one month.

While the first two T20Is will be played in Florida, the action will return to the West Indies during the remaining matches. After Florida, India will play matches in Guyana, Trinidad, Antigua and Jamaica.

Having named several rookie players in the squad across formats, the visitors will be looking to give everyone at least a chance during the tour. Coming on the back of a World Cup, India need to look at players who will come good for them in the years to come.

As far as T20Is are concerned, India will be looking at playing two World Cups in the next two and a half years. Therefore, they need to make a lot of amends in the shortest format especially after considering their recent record in it.

It is worth mentioning that the two-match Test series will commence the ongoing ICC Test Championship for both the teams.
